I was once asked to describe my style of photography in three words. Clean, crisp, and colourful came to mind immediately, as these are my three goals for the end result of every photo I take.
This is my promise to you.
I want to create custom portraits for you and your family: a piece of art made from your life, a wonderful memory which you can relive through your photographs. To me nothing is more amazing than to capture your family as they truly are, to freeze time and create that perfect gift... your newborn's sleepy smile... your baby's fascination with their fingers and toes... the mischievous look in your toddler's eyes as they throw the props at me!
I choose to shoot in natural light only (no flash) simply because i believe sunshine is the lighting that is most flattering and true to life, I therefore have a small natural light studio set up in my conservatory.
I also do on location shoots for something a little different.
Why not have your children dress up old fashioned and walk down the railway track?...... your newborn asleep in a bed of leaves? or in the nook of a tree? I have been shooting in the area for a number of years and have found hidden locations that can really add something extra to family portraits.
After your session I take time to carefully edit your portrait shots and subtly retouch as required at no extra charge
